For two and a half weeks every August, the National Youth Orchestras of the Netherlands welcome around 200 music students from 18 to 26 years old to participate in its festival Muziekzomer Gelderland. The programme offers over 80 concerts, varying from symphony orchestras to ensembles for classical chamber music as well as modern music and even opera, all in interesting venues around the Dutch province of Gelderland. Renowned composers, conductors and soloists work with the students to provide both musicians and audience with a memorable musical experience.
