Un Festival c’est trop court! European Short Film Festival of Nice, France, has become over the years a central meeting point for young European creation in the field of short films. Since 2000, the Festival has also been able to anchor itself in the cultural landscape as a flagship event of the cinema season on the Côte d'Azur.
In 2018 for its 18th edition, Festival artistic director Laurent Tremeau asked choreographer and film author Eric Oberdorff, director of Compagnie Humaine, to create and curate a dance films selection. Eric decided to name it Nice Dance Film. Every year, it celebrates the beauty of the body and movement, the crossed writing of dance and cinema.
