Noites de Verão 2023

Noites de Verão took shape as a cycle of open-air concerts with free entrance in Lisbon, started by Filho Único in 2009 in partnership with the National Museum of Contemporary Art. It evolved into a music program that includes proposals for artistic residencies, a showcase of emerging values in the field of ambient music, and the 2022 edition, it presented for the first time a sound installation in Ambisonics format in collaboration with the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University from Lisbon.

Noites de Verão 2023 program is a convening of inquisitive and audacious spirits and minds whose work explores issues of self-defense and individual and community resilience in the face of the multifaceted afflictions of our time, from internationalized capital to commercial extraction and its effects, from the outset in the local cultural identity.
