Prespeia

The Cultural Organization of the Prespas is hosting “Prespeia”, generally acknowledged as the outstanding cultural festival of the entire regional unit of Florina. “Prespeia” have been run since 1990 and have been evolved into a landmark cultural activity. It is striking that visitors of Florina multiply during the “Prespeia” and the event has been honoured by the presence of Greek and foreign prime ministers, politicians, and business magnates. The Organization has become an expert in planning and supervising musical concerts within the island of Agios Achillios. It has amassed considerable experience in delivering demanding events within the entire regional unit of Florina. The Organization is run by a governing body of 11 elected members and is widely held to have evidenced its prowess in planning and promoting cultural activities.
