The festival is organised by Rīgas cirks, a multifunctional art centre, that since 2017 aims not only at offering important and topical circus performances to an ever-expanding public, but also promotes the development and visibility of the circus industry in the Latvian society in the long term. Rīgas cirks is also responsible for the circus education promotion and its accessibility both in Latvia and the Baltic States. Riga Circus school organises regular classes and sessions for children and adults, as well as training for circus professionals. For its 12th edition, the festival has planned to bring together circus artists from Europe and Baltic states, thus also developing the local circus community and stimulating new collaborations between the artists. The programme will include the following companies: Company Midnight (Belgium), Cie Defracto (France), Cia Alta Gama (Spain), Art For Rainy Days (Latvia/Lithuania), and others. The programme is still in the finalising process. Just like every year, the programme will feature Riga Circus School's activities for children and adults, as well as the masterclasses led by festival artists for the local professionals.
