Renaissance festival Koprivnica

Historical mega spectacle connects late medieval historical facts with the heritage of Koprivnica, Podravina and West-European cultural and civilization sphere. Four day event reconstructs the period when Koprivnica became Royal Free City (in 1356.) the period that the Renaissance earth fortifications (where the entire event takes place) originate from. The festival brings together over 1.300 costumed participants from dozen European countries such as: old crafts, merchants, knights, ladies, the king and his court men, beggars, alchemists, musicians, entertainers and many others. The festival is visited by over 50.000 visitors every year.
