Festival Shakespeare was born in Catalonia with the artistic aim, on one hand, of creating, producing, and exhibiting national and international plays and performances, and on the other, organizing events to promote the diffusion, research and knowledge of the figure of William Shakespeare.
Now the Festival is placed in Barcelona and belongs to the European Shakespeare Festivals network.
