Founded in 2005 SIMULTAN is an annual festival dedicated to experimental music, sound and media art projects, developing research-based or site-specific projects, public space interventions, exhibitions, live events, talks and workshops.

SIMULTAN Festival is an initiative of SIMULTAN.org, an artist-run organization founded in 2005 in Timisoara, Romania. The organization acts as an open platform for interdisciplinary projects, research and artistic experimentation.
