International Festival of Classical Chamber Music – SKUPI KamerFest

Is a festival that organizes the branches of chamber music in the classical music sphere, it has organized 5 edition’s and 2023 is its 6^th Edition.
The festival has invited renowned international artists, and our main target is to combinate the oncoming artists with local artists coming from North Macedonia and the Western Balkans, at the same time we organize seminars/masterclasses for students, pupils, and professionals, where at the same time we reinforce the fact that they are for free and without any additional cost to our addition of seminars/masterclasses.

We intend to boost local composers by sharing their works with international artists and make a combination so that the audience would listen to the works of the local composer be interpreted by the musician for the first time.

Our main priorities are:

1. Promotion of creative and performing arts.
2. Promoting events/festivals with the participation of world-renowned artists/writers and ensembles, with the possibility of cooperation with relevant educational institutions by organizing lectures, seminars, and workshops.
3. Manifestations and festivals that contribute to the affirmation of cultural diversity and cooperation between communities in the country.
4. Manifestations and festivals that have been held continuously for several decades, provide high visibility and have their own recognition.
5. Stimulating and promoting domestic, international, and intercultural networking, cooperation, and partnership projects, which contribute to European values ​​and perspectives.
6. Stimulating intercultural dialogue and participation of representatives of several communities in the country.
7. Encouraging the participation of domestic authors.
8. Encouraging performances of renowned domestic artists.

The purpose of hosting the international chamber music festival "SKUPI CamerFest" is to promote classical chamber music on a larger scale, as a special chamber music genre and expression for the events in the scene, the idea is to search for more creative ways of approaching classical music and contemporary music. to the audience. Through the use of various channels that have been current and attractive to the majority of the public in recent years, we strive to popularize classical music itself.
