STRADUN CLASSIC

24 September- 2 October 2021
Chamber Music Festival

The renowned Croatian clarinetist Marija Pavlović has been Artist-in-Residence of the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra since 2018. Together with the Orchestra she has founded a new festival, Stradun Classic, a new festival for orchestra, chamber music and soloists.
The idea of this festival is to have a top chamber music festival in Dubrovnik, with world-class musicians who will perform in chamber and as soloists as well. Members of the Orchestra also have the opportunity to play chamber music with the guest artists.
Some of the musicians who appeared in festival are oboist Tom Owen, bassoonist Pieter Nuytten, hornist Boštjan Lipovšek, violinist Daniel Rowland and Gordan Nikolić, cellist Maja Bogdanovićan, double bassist Zoran Marković, pianist Martina Filjak, cellist Monika Leskovar and Celine Flamen, maestro Darrell Ang and maestro Marc Tardue - Principal Conductor of the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra.

Detailed programme of the Festival will be announced.
