SUNS, minority language song festival, was set up in Udine (Italy) in 2009 with the specific intent of promoting contemporary music in European minority languages.
SUNS is a travelling festival, an imaginary bridge linking the minority languages of central-southern Europe, and is open to collaboration with all European linguistic minorities.
SUNS awards a prize to the best song, selected from those presented by around 40 groups and artists who participate each year.
