This year’s programme will feature music from the Middle Ages to songs by Ravel, Fauré and Reynaldo Hahn. The ongoing series devoted to Bach’s works will continue with his suites for unaccompanied cello, performed by Christophe Coin. The Festival Baroque Orchestra, together with an international team of renowned soloists, will present Alessandro Stradella’s oratorio telling the story of Herod’s beheading of St John the Baptist. Two concerts will be dedicated to the hitherto largely unperformed baroque music from Koper.
