The Holiday Festival of Art for Children and Youth Hurray! ART!

The Holiday Festival of Art for Children and Youth Hurray! ART! has been organized since 2015 by The Puppet and Actor Theatre “Kubuś” in Kielce (Poland).

This is called festival involved, addressed to children, youth and their parents and educators. It's goal is a creative encounter with art based on the principle of co-participation and co-creation with the use of theater pedagogy, as well as deepening the recipients' need for active participation in culture.

Every year, for the next 3 weekends of August in Kielce, on various stages, the most interesting performances, short films awarded at world festivals, workshops conducted in the spirit of modern theater pedagogy, reading of contemporary theater plays, radio plays and discussion panels are presented. Each subsequent edition of the festival is guided by a different theme, to which particular events of the festival are dedicated.

It is the only holiday festival for entire families in Kielce and the Świętokrzyskie Province, filling the gap in the cultural offer of the city and region. The festival has become a permanent event in the city's cultural calendar. Interested in it viewers and artists not only from all over Poland, but also from abroad.
