Työväen Musiikkitapahtuma

27 Jul 2022 - 31 Jul 2022
Valkeakoski, Finland

The Factory whistle is playing again! Workers' Music Festival will celebrate its 50th anniversary from 27th to 31th of July. 2022 the festival returns to its traditional venue in the milieu of UPM Tervasaari Paper Mill and Myllysaari Museum. The festival, which has been held in Valkeakoski since 1972, is one of the oldest music festivals in Finland.

In the yard of the Tervasaari factory and Myllysaari, the rap meets Finnish Schlager and rock - not forgetting the tradition of industrial folk music. First-class artists guarantee a relaxed and intergenerational atmosphere in a unique festival environment. There is also a lot of special shows produced for the anniversary.

The shows will also feature current discussions, stage dancing, nightly singing, fire and light art, and special concerts, not forgetting Salakapakka's rhythmic gigs and Satuday night's salsa parties. On Saturday and Sunday of the festival, an action-packed program for families with children is coming again.

Welcome to the celebration!
